Weaves

What is the difference between handtied- and machine made weave?

Handtied weaves is better known as 'thin wefts' and machine made weaves are better known as 'thick wefts'.

Handtied wefts are made by tying strands of hair around a strong weaving thread. This process is done by hand. Our hand tied wefts are much thinner than machine wefts because of the precision involved, and lay flat on the scalp. Machine wefts are made by sewing strands of hair together with a hair sewing machine.

Our handtied weft is sold per track. Each track is 50 cm width.
Our machine made weft is sold per bundle. Each bundle contains 4 oz (this is equivalent to about 100 grams).

How much hair do I need?

We recommend the following for handtied weft:

4/5 tracks = for a half head
8/10 tracks = for a whole head
12/15 tracks = for a whole head with extra volume

We recommend the following for machine made weft:

1 bundle = for a half head
2 bundles = for a whole head
3 bundles = for a whole head with exta volume
